Met Gala 2015

I know I'm a little late to the game on posting about this, but we need to discuss this year's Met Gala. For those of you who missed the memo, it was last week while I was in bed practically dying from a nasty cold and sinus infection (#prayforme). This year's theme was China: Through The Looking Glass. I can only imagine the struggle that came with dressing to match that theme and honestly, it didn't really seem like most people even tried.

This year was a really strange one because it didn't seem like there was as much hype leading up to the event as there has been in the past. If I hadn't been scrolling through twitter while **trying** to fall asleep while sick on Monday, I probably wouldn't have realized the gala had come and gone! I wasn't in love with a lot of the fashion this year, so I only have two looks to share, but they are looks I LOVE.

First up is Amal Clooney in a Maison Marginal Dress. The detailing on the bodice of this dress is absolutely amazing and pulls in the Chinese theme just ever so subtly.

The dress to end all dresses though was Kerry Washington's bubblegum pink Prada gown. The bows at the nape of her neck and at the waistline are to die for.

What were your favorite looks from the 2015 Met Gala?
